Space Themed Reading
The books we will be reading this term all have a Space theme.
We will begin with The Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram. Bob has a very important job on the Moon but he is unaware that aliens are watching his every move!
Facts, facts, facts! We will be looking at lots of information books about Space and The Planets. We will learn so many different facts and then work together to produce our very own class book about The Planets!
Finally we will be finishing the term by reading an adventure story - Whatever Next by Jill Murphy. Baby Bear doesn't want to go to bed and instead takes himself off into space and lands on the Moon! Whatever next?

The Moon Landing
This term we will be learning all about the astronaut Neil Armstrong and the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in 1969.
Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the Moon and his footprints are still there!
We will also be learning about the planets in our solar system.
