Who are the Friends of High Hurstwood?
We are a committee formed of a group of parents who look to raise funds for the school with a view to benefitting all the pupils within it. The committee suggest, arrange and run events for the school community and engage with parents and children to endeavour to provide popular and effective fund raising activities.
Our Objective:
To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:
1. developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
2. engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils
What we do?
The FHH carry out a variety of activities throughout the school year, including our sponsored walk, christmas market, film nights, bake sales, pancake flip challenge, old school sports day afternoon, school discos and running the school tent at the High Hurswood Village Fete. We aim to raise atleast £4000 for the school each year.
Please see our thank you to all of the businesses and organisations who donated a prize for our raffle at our Christmas Market.
