What we are learning about this term...
The Romans
In Spring terms 3 & 4, we are building on our prior knowledge of Italy when learning about the Romans.
This term we are going to have a focus on History, whilst learning about Roman invasions, Roman roads and Boudicca's rebellion. For English will write a story about a Roman invasion or the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii.
We will be creating Roman inspired mosaics in art, using patterns to inform these. We are also going to be making Roman shields, with a Roman workshop visit scheduled in Term 4.
